Verklärte Nacht

In our fourth collaboration with the German Department, PCMS will explore the intensely emotional world of spiritual metamorphosis inside Arnold Schönberg’s Verklärte Nacht, featuring a reading of Richard Dehmel’s eponymous poem that provided the inspiration for this transformative string sextet.

Being Sound: Music, Madness, and Medicine

In collaboration with the Princeton University Art Museum’s exhibition, Worlds of Care: Visualizing Illness and Healing, PCMS will journey into the multifaceted intersection of music and medicine. The program, which spans six centuries, ranges from a musical parody of a surgery to works that have been integrated into clinical music therapy.
